Volunteer Training

Instructional Programs are delivered by a JA Volunteer over the course of one or several school days. We also offer an after school program for high school students.

Below you'll find training sessions for a number of the JA programs we offer. Regardless of which program you wish to deliver, everyone starts with the Getting Started program, which will introduce you to JA. Once you've completed the learning, take the quiz to see how prepared you are and the knowledge you've obtained. Upon completion of your chosen course-specific training program below you'll be ready to deliver that program in class!

To access the Getting Started program and begin your volunteer journey, please contact your local JA Charter by finding them on the map to the right. Once you've complete their registration process you'll be given the program access code

This is where you begin as a volunteer! Once you have your access code (your JA Charter contact will share it with you), you can access this content and begin your journey.

You must complete this course to unlock the other training courses.

The Getting Started videos will help you learn more about JA and our impact and the roles & responsibilities of the volunteer. We offer insights on the students you will meet and how to engage with them and provide valuable tips for how to prepare for your classroom experience.
